I was searching high and low for the perfect wooden animals and Daddy Choo bought these from Switzerland. 144 pieces for $50. I thought it was a good deal till I saw it IRL. It’s tiny AF.

Found out about Holztiger animal figurines from some YouTubers and damn, they are expensive. One piece goes anywhere from $12 – $23 Singapore dollars. Each animal.

Thank goodness that Christmas is here! Aunt Alison and Dad chipped in to get some animals and we got the rest. They are big and beautiful!

I’m leaning towards 60% Waldorf / 40% Montessori approach and really love the idea of open ended toys!
