The Montessori/Waldorf Approach
As I researched further into sensory toys to stimulate Lissie’s cognitive skills, I stumbled upon a Russian Etsy seller’s handmade sensory cubes and taggies, and also Montessori/Waldorf education. Montessori/Waldorf education usually starts from 3 – 6 years of age, but we can start from newborn stage by showing black and white cards to stimulate them […]
Lissie’s First Pool Experience
Auntie Jenny gave Lissie and the girls a super fun splashy time! It’s a pity that we weren’t there but we are glad Lissie had this fun experience! Videos below!
Ew! What’s This!?
Lissie is quite a picky eater. She makes a really cute disgusted face whenever we feed her. Check out the videos below. There’s one where she shivered too! LOL!
Look Ma! I Can Hold It Myself!
Trained this girl to hold her own bottle at 4.5 months. Videos below. #proudparents
Working with Mummy
Created a makeshift workspace so that Lissie can have her tiny work space while mummy works.
My Breastmilk is Indeed on Steroids.

Stoked About My Custom Tula
Got my friend to paint a baby version of Daryl Dixon’s angel wing jacket onto my Tula baby carrier. She did an amazing job! Little one layette sewed the set for me. Totally love it! Pics below.
The Little Chatterbox
Lissie talks.. a lot! Her gibberish never fails to amuse all of us. Videos below.

Dayum. She’s 5kg at 4 weeks old.
Infant Sensory Stimulation
I’m so glad that the cards I painstakingly made are actually put to good use. She was really excited and will often have outbursts! After Daddy Choo taught her how to swipe the cards, she began doing that too and was having a lot of fun! Way to go, Lissie!
Lissie’s First Easter Sunday Mass
Brought Lissie out on her first outing since she’s came to this world – to visit her maker. We brought her to church to give thanks because she is a precious little miracle bestowed to us! She stayed quiet and slept through out the entire Easter Sunday mass despite screaming kids in the infant room. […]
Week 3: Highlights
The Unspeakable: Postpartum Poo
I was sure my face looked like that when I tried to poop for the first time after labour. I mean, why did no one speak about postpartum poo? The fear is real. I refrained from going till the 5th day. What ran through my head was a pile of soil that kept on piling […]
