Have been feeding Lissie brown rice since forever. Decided to whip up something nutritious with different textures. Meet the powerhouse of super foods – June’s Power Grain Mix! It consists of white quinoa, red quinoa, black quinoa, amaranth, red lentils, green lentils, millet, flaxseed, pearl barley and peas. But the peas are still quite hard after cooking for 40 minutes so I’m removing peas out of this mix. I also add a bit of softened chia seeds when cooking. So much goodness in a scoop of my mix!
