The Montessori/Waldorf Approach

As I researched further into sensory toys to stimulate Lissie’s cognitive skills, I stumbled upon a Russian Etsy seller’s handmade sensory cubes and taggies, and also Montessori/Waldorf education.

Montessori/Waldorf education usually starts from 3 – 6 years of age, but we can start from newborn stage by showing black and white cards to stimulate them from young. Thank goodness I hung the cards around Lissie’s cot by instinct!

Here are some useful links as an introduction to the Montessori/Waldorf approach as well as the crazy amount of quality wooden toys I bought from Taobao. Exactly the same as what we get from Singapore or Amazon at a fraction of the price. Same water-based paint with birch wood. I love smart buys <3. Bought enough toys to last Lissie till she is 3 years old! Haha!
